This pixilated wall bathroom design, designed by 3 creative designer. They are Gregg De Meza, Jennifer Gustafson and Michelle Nelson for presented in San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2010. They use black and white tiles to offers this bathroom into more modern style. Just like an artwork. The mosaic tiles made by Spec Ceramic that represent trend tile in USA today. The tile was hand-set on 12” x 12” mesh sheets, each sheet individually numbered and a template was provided to the tile setter as a map of the room to use during installation.
The architect wanted to create a design that could prove that modern design can live easily within a traditional “envelope”. The original cabinetry was maintained and enlivened with a fresh coat of white. The room’s color palette blends sizzle and respite. Wanted to offset the high contrast of the black and white glass tile, the designer found a soothing gray-blue to help give the eye a place to rest. It’s nice and will a big helpful for those who love simply design in modern look. Peek more information at homeworkshop.
